Hello everybody,

This one is for Liz Jones, I thought I would send it to the list, to see if
the list is working properly!.

The FISHERS ran the blacksmiths forge in Cocklake. The first was James
FISHER b1812 who married Amelia HICKMAN. The business was taken over by
their son Octavus -  "Occy" - b1859.

The shell of their forge and the house they lived in, "The Smithy", still
exists on Rughill and my neighbour owns a piece of ground which he calls
Occy's.

Are they on your tree Liz because I have a photo of Occy taken in about
1914. If you would like a copy let me know.
