I am pretty sure it is Wedmore ... are you using Rev Harvey's =
transcripts? There are some missing - I used the original parish =
registers on film through the LDS.
I'm using microfiche of the originals.

Lyn, I'm looking at Wedmore registers and there certainly is =
not a baptism for Thomas 4/10/1840. There is one - for a George Leigh, =
son of Uriah and Harriett! Could it have been in Meare?

Tim is correct - Thomas (bapt from memory 1843) was the =
son of Simon Tincknell and Charlotte Duckett. Simon was the son of John =
Tincknell and Sarah Millard. There was another Thomas (his cousin) born =
the same year, son of Edward Tincknell and Ann Kingsbury.
I can see several children to Simon and Charlotte but =
not Thomas! Can you please be more specific, I've probably missed him.

John - where is the Heritage Coast in Suffolk? We aren't =
burning here but I hear down south is... though I feel like I am burning =
the heat is so oppressive. Night temperatures are still in the 90s F.

I have a connection to Isaac Hembury and Elizabeth =
Rogers. Their daughter Harriet married my Great great grandfather Thomas =
Tincknell in 1861. Children were Charlotte, William (married Emily) and =
Agnes (married John Willis).Harriet died and was buried 17 May 1868 and =
Thomas married Emma Counsel. I am descended from that marriage.=20

Xmas morning!) and when I checked my records it turns out that he was a =
brother of Isaac HEMBURY, who is my ggg grandfather. Their parents were =
Richard HEMBURY and Sebara HEMBURY (nee CHAPMAN). What relation to you =
was Charles?
I'm afraid I haven't been able to find any =
record of a Nancy HEMBURY on my files so far, but I'll have a more =
thorough search after Xmas.
