Hi Sue

Hope you had a soooper Xmas!

Christmas day quite and my daughter came over Boxing day.

Getting back to your query ref: the offspring of Isaac HEMBURY, the =
data I have accrued shows that he and his wife Elizabeth had 12 children =
together. They are (in no particular order):

  Charles born c.1831
  William born c. 1834
  George born c. 1835
  Charlotte born c. 1837
  Richard born c. 1839
  Harriet born c. 1842
  Frederick born c. 1842
  Lot born c. 1844
  Edward born c. 1845
  Hannah born c. 1846
  Mary Ann born c. 1849
  Henry born c. 1853

I haven't looked for these yet, although I'm now doing the 1832 =
registers.=20

Further to this, Elizabeth was obviously both fertile and obliging, =
because she also had an earlier "base-born son", whose name, =
unfortunately, escapes me at present. I'll update on that later, unless =
someone else has the info more readily to hand.

There are several base born and again I should have recorded this, but =
I cannot see a base born to Elizabeth Rogers between 1812 and 1831 in =
Wedmore

Anyway, that makes a total of 13 kids, which just goes to show what =
people did to pass the time in the days before Eastenders and the =
Internet!

And many years ago now the lights went out in New York and 9 months =
later there was a noticable increase in births.

  Best wishes,=20

  John
