Hi John
I have looked through my file but the only record I can find at this =
stage is an IGI record. Unfortunately when I first started I didn't =
bother recording my sources thinking I would remember! Ha Ha! The file =
is so thick now it takes me ages to look through it all and I may have =
been given it by another researcher.
Don't rely on the IGI. In Suffolk I've found them 100% wrong and from =
sources which are not available! The IGI is a good guide to push you in =
the right direction. I've recently received a huge tree from Canada =
descended from one of my ancestors in Suffolk mostly sourced from the =
IGI. I'm slowly checking everything against Parish Records at the =
Suffolk Record office and am find several errors.

Lyn, I'm looking at Wedmore registers and there certainly is not a =
baptism for Thomas 4/10/1840. There is one - for a George Leigh, son of =
Uriah and Harriett! Could it have been in Meare?

Tim is correct - Thomas (bapt from memory 1843) was the son of =
Simon Tincknell and Charlotte Duckett. Simon was the son of John =
Tincknell and Sarah Millard. There was another Thomas (his cousin) born =
the same year, son of Edward Tincknell and Ann Kingsbury.
I can see several children to Simon and Charlotte but not =
Thomas! Can you please be more specific, I've probably missed him.

John - where is the Heritage Coast in Suffolk? We aren't =
burning here but I hear down south is... though I feel like I am burning =
the heat is so oppressive. Night temperatures are still in the 90s F.

Rogers. Their daughter Harriet married my Great great grandfather Thomas =
Tincknell in 1861. Children were Charlotte, William (married Emily) and =

Richard HEMBURY and Sebara HEMBURY (nee CHAPMAN). What relation to you =
was Charles?

Nancy HEMBURY on my files so far, but I'll have a more thorough search =
after Xmas.
