Cayuga County is in Central NYS, sandwiched between the counties of Seneca
and Onondaga. Auburn is the major city which also happens to be the home of
one of NYS maximum security prisons. Some of my family moved to Skaneatles
from the Auburn area which is about 20 minutes away from the city of Auburn.
