Lyn, I wish I could help you out, but all I know of Dr. John Westover =
is what I too found in the Wedmore Chronicles. I can trace my family =
back to Gabriel Westover, born in Taunton in 1566/67. I've found some =
references to Gabriel as the son of John Westover and Joanna Clapp of =
Wedmore, but can find no confirmation. And I don't know whether this =
John Westover (born 1545 in Wedmore) was related to Dr. John or not. =
Would like to think there was some connection there but who knows? Will =
let you know if ever I run across anything else about Ann and Edward =
Tincknell.
Does it make sense to any of you who are researching this area that a =
couple from Wedmore would have a son baptised at St. Mary's Church in =
Taunton??
Regards,
Nancy Westover Baer

Nancy
I gather you are researching Westover? If so would you know anything =
about the following information from the Wedmore Chronicle on Michael's =
page that "Ann baptised 1659, the sister of Dr John Westover kept house =
for him until she married her cousin Edward Tincknell."
I am trying to work out who this Edward was and how they were cousins.
regards
Lyn
