Noticed the following Phippen reference in the Somerset Archives from =
A2A; wasn't sure if you had already seen it, but as it mentions names of =
offspring (always useful!), thought I'd better send it just in case!
Deeds etc. concerning the Phippen family and lands in the manor of =
Blackford and Shipham
FILE - Probate of Will - ref. DD/SE/61/5 - date: [13 August =
1782]
|_ [from Scope and Content] Of Robt. Phippen; ordering the =
overplus (after payment of debts) from sale of his estates in Wedmore =
and Shipham to be divided among his 4 children, Samuel, Thos., Betty and =
Hannah, and appointing his son Robt. as sole exor.
