Typical Wedmore area stuff: in the 1870 Dubuque census there are two
William Wall families as follows -

William Wall 36
Eliza A. 30
Theophilus 7
Mary J. 10
William 5
John 4
Theodore 2 (the only one born in Iowa)

they were living in Dodge Township next to Richard and Elizabeth Baker.

In Cascade Township (all the children born in Iowa) there were

William Wall 32
Amelia 28
George L. 8
Elizabeth A. 7
Eliza 5
Ellen F. 3
Winford 1

After a couple of hours I went back and rechecked - the 10 year old living
with William and Eliza is definitely MARY.  The census taker could have
made a mistake (he misspelled Theophilus) but, ...........
