Mary,
I do have Amelia's death certificate, and it says her mother was Jane Baker,
her father William Wall.  However, the only baptism record shows for an
Amelia Jane Cox Wall who was baptised about a year and a half after my
Amelia's birth and it lists the parents as William and Elizabeth Wall.
William who mar. (1) to Jane Baker, mar. (2) to Eliza Ann Cox.  The
controversy is whether or not "my" Amelia Jane Wall is the same as the
Amelia Jane Cox Wall.  That is why I wpuld like to find a copy of the
baptismal record in England, to see if it shows the mother's maiden name.
