Dear James Ridley
The lines certainly do connect!   Your Samuel's Father also had a brother 
named George (b 1766).  He was married to Grace Puddy (m 1791 Wedmore) and 
was my Gr Gr Gr Gr Grandfather. I think your James Willis may have been born 
in 1763 rather than 1771.  His father was also a James (b 1741) and m. to 
Lydia Wade in 1762.  That James' father was John Willis b. 1698 
(Bagley/Wedmore) and John's father was Johannis Willis b. abt 1670 in Wedmore 
and probably m. Sarah Card 1897.

Does that seem about right?  If you want some more then let me know.
