[WED]Burr/Holt Mystery

Hoping someone might be able to give me some ideas...

My Greatgrandmother was Annie Burr born 1869 and married Albert E Tincknell
in Wedmore 27 Mar 1890 after Banns. She said she never knew when her
birthday was as she was illegitimate so she made it up as 18th April and all
she knew was she was born in Glastonbury. Father's name is blank on marriage
registration, age was 21.

In the 1881 census I have located

Annie Burr aged 12 scholar born Glastonbury, BOARDING at Binegar with
William Holt aged 26 Ag Labourer born at Crewkerne and his wife and
children.

Question 1 - where is Binegar? I can't find it on my maps.

Question 2 - why would William Holt have her as a boarder and why would she
still be at school and not working as a servant, especially in her
circumstances?

Any other thoughts appreciated.
