My Great, great Grandmother was Martha Willis.  She was born in Wedmore and 
migrated to the states after marrying William Day or CROSS< Somersetshire in 
Wedmore.  Her parents were Samuel Willis (b. 1809) and Ruth Raines.  
Samuel's parents were James Willis(b. abt. 1771) and Hester Bunn.  They had 
several children, the oldest, a daughter was named Sarah (b. abt. 6/1796).  
Sarah is a common name in the Willis family.
