Hi Patrisia,
Many thanks for looking those up for me, I really appreciate it! I don't recognise any of the names immeadiately but it's helpful to know that they weren't listed in Wedmore at that time. Sorry, I have no idea which directory mine came from, I will e-mail the cousin who copied it for me and let you know!

Thanks for the results, they confirm my g3gr.father James COLLINGS.
Also his son-in-law John VEALE, my g2gr.father, for the first time!
This is very helpful, as he was in Pembs. from 1855 and died in 1869,
so helps with the time line.
Do you have any idea which directory they are from, as yet?
