Hello John; and Katherine. The Arthur Duckett information is a gem. My
parents both knew him, and were able to tell me that he was not related to
either of their families; so I have him in my records as an unknown person.
The Mudgeley connection will almost certainly put him in a specific branch
of the "third" family, which has no one left living in the Wedmore area. I
did not know how old he was and as I have not seen a baptismal record
assumed he was born after 1900. I don't know when he died as I have not seen
a grave. I came home in 1977, I doubt if he lived long after that as I never
