Stan, that's the first time I've read that Will. Oliver mentioned it
The will is mentioned in the deeds of Cocklake Farm. I presume that the
actual will no longer exists. Oliver has not seen the Cocklake farm deeds as
far as I know.

recently I went to Taunton to find out a couple of things.
(a) Can I find a baptism for this James Tutton, grandfather of George.
Answer, no I couldn't.
I have not found a baptism for James Tutton but I have not looked outside
Wedmore.

(b) On Michael's site, he has George's gdfather as Benjamin married to
Deborah, can I check this for myself. Answer yes.

Benjamin is the father of a George Tutton

My thoughts were>
Did Oliver read the Will correct as it doesn't seem to match. (Now I read it
for myself he did read it correct). And that Michael might have it correct
on his site, and that I had better e-mail him to see what he thought.

It would appear then Stan that I am getting 2 George Tuttons confused, that
mine has James as his grandfather and another George has Benjamin as his
grandfather.
There are lots of George Tuttons, that is what makes it difficult. The
George with James Tutton as Grandfather (the one in your line) died in 1809
at the age of 78. If he had been the son of Benjamin he would have been 99
when he died, not very likely!

I recall you telling me that the Tuttons of Cocklake might have no
connection with the Tuttons of Wedmore, you think this is still the case?

These Tuttons had property next door to each other. Both can be called
'Cocklake Tuttons' and as I said before I can not find a connection between
them to fit the data I have on them.
