[WED]Re Swell

The parish clerk of Meare Parish is my next door neighbour. I have asked her
about Swell, she said it sounded familiar and thought it might be further
south again. I think she would know if it was in Meare. I have had another
look at the local maps, and have found "Swell", a hamlet about ten miles
east of Taunton. It looks as if it should be in the parish of Fivehead to
the west. The parish of Curry Rivel to the east is also close. From the map
I would think it is about six households, but Swell Court Farm looks to be a
substantial property. It is about eighteen miles south of Wedmore. Matthew.
