Hi List Members,
I copied an obit for Charles Henry Millard a few months ago and wondered 
if someone could help me with looking for him--
The obit states he was born in "Polsham, parish of Wells, Somersetshire, 
England, May 12, 1845".  It also says that his father died when he was 
2, his mother died when he was 14 and then he & his brothers went to 
live with his grandfather.  After his grandfather's death he only saw 
his brothers once as he went to live with a cousin "until 1866 when with 
a number of other young men, he came to America, settling near 
Dyersville, Iowa.  On Dec 26, 1867, he was united in marriage at Dubuque 
to Miss Lucy Ann Curry..."  Lucy Curry was the daughter of James and 
Mary Ann Roper Hole Curry of Wedmore/Crickham.  Does anyone have any 
info on Charles Henry Millard's family?

I also copied an obit for Sarah Wall "daughter of Edwin and Jane Millard 
Wall, born June 3, 1867 in Wedmore, Somersetshire, England" and came to 
Iowa in 1890 settling on a farm near Alta, Iowa.  She married Thomas 
Wall in 1892.  Sarah Wall was mentioned in guest lists of social 
activities involving Charles Henry Millard and his family.  I am 
wondering if anyone has information on the families of Edwin Wall who 
married Jane Millard probably in the 1860's?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
