To all members of the Wedmore Rootsweb Mailing list .

Although our list delves into the past in search of our ancestors
and the family histories of those who preceded us, we should
look to assisting the present and future Wedmore generations.

We seek your help. We need a few moments of your time.

You are computer literate ,but there are many in the Parish
are not.

The work done by the unpaid volunteers at our 'It for the Terrified Centre'
has shown many locals how to get information about things that affect their
lives.

Wedmore is considered one of the most isolated villages in Somerset
.
We have to travel several miles to reach any government office to obtain
the information we need in this of ever increasing bureaucratic world.

Yet much of that information, guidance and assistance is coming on line.

The Technology College Community in Wedmore needs funds to support
its efforts.  You can help by taking a few moments voting on line at
