Dear Stephen Brown,

Thank you for answering my request for info on Louisa Dyer. I do not think
that Louisa Brown ae 32, b. Chew Magna was the right one. Louisa Dyer was
born in Yatton on 19 aug 1816, baptised there 16 sept 1816, daughter of
James Dyer and Mary ----. I do not know when (or where) she married ---
Brown, or why she did not leave England with the rest of the family.

On the other hand, George Brown draper sounds about right, as that was her
family's trade, and the son named James also sounds about right. Does this
listing mean they lived at Culmstock?, or was he born there? Is there a
1861 Census?

Many thanks,

Mary Thacher
