Hi Tim ,=20
As they say , thats the $64,000 question. Let me know if you find a =
link.

  Stephen,=20

you are indeed family historian extraordinaire!

Thanks to your tip I have identified several new ancestors, up to 266 =
in all. The census information tallies with my mother's notes, and by =
placing Maria Lovibond as born in Middlezoy in 1802, ties in with =
baptism of a Maria there in 1802 that I already had details of. So very =
many thanks. Now I wonder if her husband Joseph's father Edward Baker =
(also born in Middlezoy) has links with the Wedmore and Meare Bakers.
  =20
  Best wishes

  Tim

    Hello again John ,=20
Sometime after starting my Wedmore research I realized it would =
be necessary to not only research the Browns but also the Walls. Later =
because of the intermarriages of Browns with Toogoods and Ducketts I =
began to take an especial interest in those families also. This is why I =
enquired about the Nancy Walls to see if there was a consensus as to =
which married whom. Apparently there is not. Much of this research we do =
as a hobby is original and I consider it of the utmost importance that =
it pass to posterity as a completely accurate record. In answer to your =
question , no I am not descended from either marriage of the Nancy Walls =
but have a collateral interest for reasons stated above.
By the way I understand that you and your cousin are looking =
for a Baker female , daughter of a Lovibond that married one of your =
Meare relatives. Please take a look at 1851 Stoke St.Grogory where I =
believe you might find her.
         Best wishes ,=20

      Hi Stephen
      =20
Many thanks for yours via Wedmore.
      =20
We have Nancy Wall, bap. 7/6/1790, daughter of Ann Stone and =
Jerimiah Wall marrying John Pople 9/5/1816 by Banns.
Page 24, record 70. Witnesses were George Clapp and Jerimiah Wall.
      =20
The other Nancy Wall, baptised 29/9/1791, daughter of Sarah Fuller =
and John Wall married William Gibbs 13/10/13 by Licence. Page 6, record =
17. Witnesses were John Wall and Edward Sweet.
      =20
We have both Jerimiah and John descended from William Wall, born =
about 1540.
      =20
Are you descended from any of these?
      =20
For Tim: Do you agree with the above please?
