I have what I think might be a link to my Joseph Baker, but of course, I =
can't be sure. Here it goes:
William Baker born abt 1605 (don't know where in Somerset) married Jane =
Baker - had son William Baker
William Baker (jr) born Jan 1636 Wedmore, died July Oldwood, Wedmore, =
married Jane Raines 1681 - had Mary, Sarah, Thomas and William.
Thomas Baker born 28 Feb 1691/92 - I think HE is Joseph's father - he =
would have been 32 when he had Joseph if I'm right. I can't find any =
proof though, but I just have a niggly feeling he's the missing link! =
Can anyone do a lookup for me for his birth, marriage and children that =
would be WONDERFUL!
Joseph Baker born 1723 (LDS states before 1735 but I know it's the right =
Joseph because his records link to the right wife and children, which =
then carries on to my line of Bakers).
Any idea where I can get info about this Thomas Baker, or if you know =
for certain he's not the link, let me know.
Kelly

Sorry can't help, although related to him through the Walls. I'm =
looking for more details on the father (Edward, born 1762 in Middlezoy) =
of another Joseph Baker who married my mother's ancestor Maria Lovibond =
of Middlezoy and was living in Stoke St Gregory in 1851. I have some =
other later Joseph Bakers in my line.

Hi all
John, this is particularly for you... but I'd be happy to receive =
suggestions from anyone on the list! I'm still searching for details of =
Joseph Baker's parents. I'm talking about the Joseph Baker who was born =
bef 1735 (I've seen references to 1728) and died 27 Jan 1759 in Banwell, =
Somerset. He married Phebe (Febe?). They had Richard, Joseph and John =
(maybe others?).
It's driving me crazy!! I just can't seem to get any further back =
than him.
HELP!!!
Thanks - Kelly
