Hi Nancy,
Have been on a trip & just back home so am late in joining in.  My 
family also left Wedmore, 1840's, some going first to Canada, others to 
Wisconsin, but then to the Dyersville area by early 1850's.  Most then 
went to Buena Vista Co, IA--majority to Alta--but one family to Leon, 
IA.  Just wondered if any of your family was in the same parts of IA.  I 
grew up in Alta.
