Thank you Mike, it looks really good, I shall get into them later today. A
quick glance showed lots of the Day Family....
I noticed your Baker connection, I have a Robert Baker (abt 1730) m Grace
Herring at Taunton 10 June 1754. I have not really had time to look for them
yet, but could be they are Somerset folk too! Robert was a Tailor as was his
son, William. The family moved to Bristol where they accumulated a lands and
property, (taken from 1806 will of Grace Baker) Robert had died some years
previous. There are generations of William Bakers, mostly in Wales. Samuel
Baker m Catherine Levi, ca 1779, at Haverfordwest, Pembroke. They moved and
owned farms around Newport Mon, they also have a connection with a Lawrence
family too.
Probably no connection to you, but worth the mention !
Bless you
Phyllis.
Still on the prowl for TEMPLAR, DAY of Axbridge, Banwell, and Wedmore.
STOCK & LEWIS of Axbridge and other places, Som.
TRIVETT, Not sure yet!
