Hello Andrea,
I am very glad to hear from you. Although the Leigh family is not =
directly related I would be pleased to to receive more information to =
fill in the gaps.=20
Fanny married James Brown, a younger brother of my great-grandmother =
Phoebe Ann Brown. I found two baptisms in Wedmore for two of their =
children George (1893) and Jane (1896). There may be more in =
Skaneateles.=20
I have made contact with Bonnie Sheppard in Auburn, New York State, =
whose two great-grandmothers were also sisters of James Brown. Bonnie's =
Wall family farmed in Skaneateles. Have you been in contact with her?
>From Fanny's obituary we learn that her sons Stephen and Henry came to =
New Zealand. Do you know whether they stayed? I have not been able to =
trace them here.
If you need more Brown information I would be pleased to share it with =
you.
Kind regards,
Fay Edgar
