Hello Cory & Kristin,
Rosina Popham nee Duckett was my Grandfather's first cousin. Her father was
William Duckett, 1834-1863, her mother was Elizabeth Duckett nee Duckett.
Thus Edwin and Stephen married mother and daughter. William & Elizabeth were
second cousins. There was an elder first child Arthur 1862-1872. In 1881
Rosina, Stephen, Elizabeth and Edwin  emigrated to the USA, to Dubuque
County, Iowa. There they joined Elizabeth's brother Edward Duckett. I have a
contact name and address in Texas for a grand daughter of Rosina but have
not followed it up yet. I also have unpublished material on the American
descendants of  Edward and Sarah Duckett.
I also have Pophams on my paternal grandmother's line (Porch of North
Wootton). Jane Popham (a great grandmother) married Henry Clerk of North
Wootton, in Wedmore in 1835. I know of two of Jane's siblings, Phoebe
married Thomas Redman and Henry married Elizabeth ? of  Mark. I believe that
Henry and Elizabeth were Edwin's parents. I have some of their children as
Mary 1814, Elizabeth 1818, Charlotte 1819, George 1823, Edwin 1826 & Henry
1828. I have some small reservations about this  material, as some of the
dates are not "comfortable". My sister has inherited paintings of Henry and
Elizabeth. There are grave stones of both Henry Pophams in Blackford Church.
There are grave stones of William & Arthur Duckett in Wedmore. I would be
delighted if you can confirm the link between Edwin, and Henry and
Elizabeth. I have a little more material mainly on the dwellings of Henry
(elder).
