Hi, John,
I have the names of his parents. They are John Redman and Hester Ham
Redman. I found them in the 1851 Census and John is listed as a farmer and
is 65 years old. His wife Hester is 48. Then there is a William born
(1827), George (1831), Maria (1836) and Jane (1841). Family history
believes that he had a brother named Thomas but he is not listed in the
Census. I have not been able to locate any additional information on John
and Hester. George Redman died in 1887 and in his biography it states that
his grandfather lived to be 100 and had many decendents. I just can't find
them.
Thanks.
