Hi Howard,=20
The name Hortery Hill caught my eye as it was unfamiliar. Hervey does =
not mention it in his article on Wedmore place names, in the Wedmore =
Chronicles. I have now had a chance to check it with Hazel Hudson and I =
am afraid she does not know it either. When am next in Taunton I will =
check in a list of Somerset place names. At the moment the best I can =
suggest is that it might be the name of a house that has now been =
