Hello all

I have a copy of book now. Not many Wedmore names but there are some form
surrounding villages - Westhay, West Coker, Meare, Cheddar, Wookey. There is
no mention of our Eureka Duckett. Probably best if you want a lookup give me
a name.

A couple that may be of interest -

Per Sir Robert Sale arrived Port Henry July 5 1852

John BUCKLEY age 28 Wesleyan ag lab reads of Blackford married Jerusha Gate
of Frome at Stone Easton Mar 1847. Also aboard 2 children John who died May
15 and Ann. More info if anyone interested. Looks like John might have had a
brother aboard - Charles aged 21 but he was C of E.

Per Joshua arrived Geelong Sept 28 1854.

Sarah Ann VOWLES 20 Dom servant C of E reads. Daughter of James Vowles a
stonemason and Elizabeth Weekes born at Blagdon SW Bristol (there are 2).

There is also info on William SYDENHAM who I think has something to do with
Wedmore's Reverend. If memory serves me in the 1891 census he was born in
Australia.
