Hi, Lyn,
Wondered if there might be a mention of William and Elizabeth unknown
Evans of Cheddar in the Wedmore book? Their children were Elizabeth, Forest,
Fanny, Sarah, Edwin, Flower, Samuel (my grgrgreat grandfather), John, and
Harriet. They were listed on the 1841 census for Cheddar. William and Elizabeth
Evans are also on the 1851. Both census curtesy of you. Thank you very much!
I do not have exact birth or death dates for either William or Elizabeth
Evans. Children Forest, Fanny, Edwin, Flower, Samuel, and Harriet, all emigrated
to the U.S. to either Oakland County, Michigan, or Delaware/Dubuque County,
Iowa. I also do not have the name of child Sarah's husband or John's wife.
Family notes said that Elizabeth never married, but that is also not verified.
Thanks for any help,
Joy Aloise CA
