[WED]Late baptism

Some late baptisms were the result of casual behaviour by the parents. In
these cases, the parish priest would be pressing in getting the matter
rectified, and this would result in a "batch of children" being done
together. I know of one case where a mother was baptised at the same time as
her children. If a person was being confirmed or married then the lack of a
baptism would be regarded as something to be corrected by the priest
involved.
