Hi Joanne & Richard,
There appear to have been only two Hellier  families in the Wedmore area, who 
were living in or near Theale, and according  to the 1851 Census both came 
from Othery. I hope this is of some interest to  you.

These entries are all from the Theale Parish  Register.

4th June 1876, John Davis  (Painter), 32, and Maria Hellier (Shopkeeper), 33, 
fathers Joseph Davis  (carpenter) and John Hellier (Shopkeeper) deceased.
6th April 1865, John  Hellier, full age, (shoe maker), and Eliza Jane 
Williams, full age (dress  maker), fathers Absalom Hellier, shoe maker and Thomas  
Williams.
