Thanks for the Hickman/Fisher info, Stan. I do actually have that =
particular bit, and, indeed, my own part of the male Fisher line right =
through from John Fisher b c1535. My main thrust now is on the women =
they married. There was so much illegitimacy in their lines which my =
grandmother felt so keenly that a story of an imaginary father was =
maintained all her life. I very much want to understand more of them. =
Hence my current interest in Caroline Hickman/Vowles. With thanks and =
best wishes.

Amelia Hickman (minor) married Joseph Fisher (full Age) a blacksmith, =
in Wedmore 3rd April 1838. There is no name given for her father.
