[WED]Visit to Wedmore

We've stayed in both the George Inn on the high street in Wedmore and Upper Farm B+B in Sand.
The George would probably be a little more central (it's almost next door the St.Mary's church) and convenient for the amenities but please be sure to request a room facing the rear.
We had a room facing the high street - the combination of a busy street and a half inch gap in the window frame didn't help matters!
The B+B in nearby Sand is a well maintained farm house and we found it to be very satisfactory. 
The folk in both establishments are very friendly and accomodating and don't forget curry night at the George Inn - it used to be on a Tuesday if I recall correctly  :-) .
