Subject: [WED]Somerset place name
In the new Ancestry 1851 on-line census, my Wedmore ancestor =
(Catherine Vowles) is listed in the transcript as being born in:
Somerset, Elbrwrcas
Other transcripts have just said that the place can't be deciphered.
I can't find Elbrwrcas on a map or on the web. I attach an image taken =
from the census and would be very grateful indeed if someone with local =
knowledge could decipher it for me.
With thanks
Pat Cryer
