Pat,

Not sure if my Harriet Bunn is the same one. She married William =
Tincknell in Theale 20 April 1858. A little young to be the same one =
baptised 1845. I am not even sure which William she married. They had a =
son, Charles, baptised 9 Aug 1858 in Wedmore.=20

Don't have anything on Richard Hembury either but I see that question =
has been answered.=20

regards

Lyn

  Hello Pauline,

As far as I known Harriet BUNN was the 3rd of 6 children of John & =
Leah BUNN nee Williams. Harriet was christened 2 Feb 1845.

John & Leah were married 8/4/1838 at Wedmore and the death of a John =
BUNN was registered in the June qrt of 1850 and when a Betsy BUNN was =
christened later that year Leah was described as a widow.

On the 1851 census all the children with the exception of the =
youngest, Betsy, are with Leah's parents.=20

From Freebmd it looks as if Leah and the baby died Dec qrt 1850
        Deaths Dec 1850 =20
        BUNN Betsey Axbridge 10 227 =20
        BUNN Elizabeth Axbridge 10 227 =20
        BUNN Losh [sic] Axbridge 10 227 =20

I guess Losh is a transcription of Leah

John BUNN's age is given as 20 on the 1841 census but I guess he was =
probably the same age as Leah (also 20 on the 1841 census) and born =
about 1817. I don't have a christening for him, but as he married in =
1838 I wonder whether his marriage certificate shows a father's name?

That's as much as I know about Harriet.

  Best wishes

  Pat

    Hi Pat

Do you have alittle more on Harriet Bunn? I have her married to a =
Samuel Puddy. Harriet & Samuel Puddy were the parents of Gabriel Puddy =
who married Jane Fear (which is where my family tree comes in). Afraid =
I dont have any dates for Harriet but Gabriel born 1880 died 15 Feb =
1967. So estimating that she was around say 30 when she had Gabriel =
would mean that she was born c1850.

    Regards Pauline
