Hi,
I have discovered that one of my ancestors Elizabeth Bartlett came from =
the Blackford area. She married Henry Stride and they came to Australia =
to the Ballarat golfdfields in 1859. Her parents were Joseph Bartlett =
and Frances Moore who appear in the marriage registers in 1836. =
Elizabeth was born in about 1837. I read with interest the introduction =
to the marriage register (on the website) which says that the registers =
contain information on the bride and bridegroom and their parents etc. I =
was not aware of this. Is it possible somehow to obtain this extra =
information. Joseph Bartlett and Francis Moore were married on 31 March =
1836.=20
Henry Stride and Elizabeth Bartlett were married in Blackford about =
1855. Any information on these two would be appreciated as well.
