Hi Ross
I am doing a one-name study of the name LATCHAM and have photocopied many
pages from the registers where my name occurs.
It happens that I have 4 pages on which the name BARTLETT occurs as well.
I have pc these from films borrowed from the LDS and include film numbers
should you want to borrow the films for yourself and see what else may be
on the films.
1: baptism Sep 15, 1805 of Joseph son of Elizabeth BARTLETT ( no Harding
with it) BB film # 1526768
2: baptism Febry 2, 1837 Elizabeth d/o Joseph and Frances BARTLETT of
Blackford labourer film # 1517606
3: baptism Febry 6, 1842 Eliza d/o Joseph and Frances BARTLETT of Blackford
labourer film #1517606
4: buried January 27, 1886 Joseph BARTLETT of Blackford 80 years film #1526375
Also checked the 1841 census
HO107/932/8 folio 35 page 8 civil parish Wedmore place Blackford
Joseph BARTLETT 35 ag lab
folio 36 page 9
Frances BARTLETT 32 ?

Hope this is of use. I know it isn't answering your question re marriage of
Joseph and Frances.
Best wishes

>Hello all
>
>I cannot find a baptism for Elizabeth Bartlet in Wedmore - she may well have
>been baptised in Blackford. However in the 1851 Census a certain Bartlett
>(probably Joseph) aged 45 and husband of Frances (aged 39, born in
>Westbury-sub-Mendip), had 4 daughters, Eliza 9, Sarah 9, Jane 4, Anna 2. He
>was a labourer. Joseph was baptised 15 Sept 1805, son of Elizabeth Harding
>Bartlett, a single mother, daughter of Mary Harden/Harding, also single.

>Hope this helps!
