I am looking for further information on Henry Clark and his son (John) =
Darwin Jolly Clark.
Henry Clark born Mudgley, Wedmore, 11 1 1863. Eldest son of John Clark =
and Mary nee Baker, farmers of Mudgley, later of Park Farm, Glastonbury.
Henry married circa 1890 Harriet Clapp, eldest daughter of George Clapp =
deceased and Harriet nee Spearing.
Henry was a storekeeper of firstly Borroloola, N. T. Australia, later of =
Palmerston (Darwin) N. T.
Darwin Clark also known by his mother as Jack was the only surviving =
child born Borroloola 15 11 1893.
The family returned to England in both 1901 and 1903.
Harriet died of diabetes on 19 2 1904 in Blackford, England.
I know nothing of Henry after his wife's death. It is not known if he =
returned to Australia or not.=20
It is also unclear where Darwin Clark was when his mother died, he =
returned to England on the 1901 voyage but not in 1903, he could have =
stayed in England or Australia in 1902. It is known that he spent his =
adult life in Australia. I have checked for his death in the following =
states Queensland, N. S. W. , Victoria, Western Australia and The =
Northern Territories.
