Greetings from sunny Florida!

We American Councils have recently completed DNA testing that links us with
Wedmore Counsells.

Now I'm trying to find the origins of our glorious emigrant, Hodges COUNCILL
who was born in "England" around 1643-1647 and died in 1699 to be buried in
Isle of Wight County, Virginia. He married Lucy HARDY.

When Hodges came to Virginia he was given land grants, we think for
transporting others to the colonies.

His father, who died in England, was (John) Hodges COUNCILL who was
supposedly married to (Mary) Elizabeth DRAKE in Springfield, Devon which I
can't even find on a map.

If anyone has any clues on this, I hope to hear from you!
