George = Edwards and Sarah was of the Manor House, Shiplate Bleadon, as gentry. = George Father was John Edwards and on his Death Duty it shows him being = of Bourton Wich St Lawrance (Manor). I Think that my Edwards are linked to The Edwards of wedmore and the = Manor of Mudgley, as on the Wedmore website it shows that Hester = Edwards had the lands at Mudgley, Sand, Wedmore and Shiplade at Bleadon = until her Death in Dec 3 1816 and after her death Shiplade mannor etc = went to Hesters fathers brother William, until his death in 1822. Now I there is documents that places my George Edwards b 1796 in = Shiplade Manor with his wife sarah Yeo. and the 1841/51 census also = shows them there. Being that the manor is in the hands of the edwards of Mudgley until = 1822 its less than 20 years whn my Edwards are there. Can any one on the list shed anymore light on this?
