Margaret, I too am researching the Fear family & am distantly related to Parry.  Could I therefore ask if I may have a look at this article which relates to the Fear family?

Hi, I would be interested in talking to Mary Hill of Missouri, (in reference to her email on 12 May 2002) as I am also researching the name of Fear who originated in Wedmore, moving on to Weston super mare.  I have traced my line back to Richard Fear nee Chapman - & have been unable to go back any further (my brickwall I think!).  I am tracing the same line as Howard Fear & Parry Edwards & probably many more!
I would be grateful for any assistance with regard to Richard Chapman nee Fear.
