[WED]Stan Castle

Hello everyone.

I wanted to pass along the terrible news that Stan Castle has passed =
away.  He died suddenly on April 8, 2011.

I know some of you knew Stan, others know his work and others probably =
don't know who I'm talking about.

So, for those who didn't know Stan I want to make sure that, when you =
come across his name on the internet, you know he was a lovely man.  He =
had done an amazing amount of research into Cocklake, one of the hamlets =
around Wedmore.  After buying a home there he decided to research his =
house and eventually the hamlet.  He then wrote a book so that everyone =
could benefit from his efforts.

He was always patient, called it like he saw it and very giving.

We live too far away for me to actually 'miss' Stan, but I'll miss the =
comfort of knowing he was there.
The world is worse off, but we are better for having had known him.
