I had seen this diary in the SRO online catalogue and made a note to check =
when I go to England next hopefully just after Christmas.

I would be very grateful if you could tell me whether there is any mention =
of the departure for US (Ultimately Wisconsin/Iowa) of Jane Roper (widow =
of Hugh) and her daughters Betsey Tincknell (husband George), Jane =
Evans(husband Sam) and Ann Roper(not sure of married name) and possibly =
son John Roper and wife Betty in around 1849/50
