[WED]Re: Bethell -Teek

I have been watching the lists for a while now but have not seen any
information or enquiries on the surnames Teek or Bethell. My maternal
grandfather came from the Wedmore area and he bore a double-barrelled
surname Bethell-Teek which I believe he found very OTT and he used  Bethell
as his second given name thus Alfred Bethell Teek.
He died in about 1957 and was about 80 so I assume he was born aorund 1887
or so. My recollection is that he had a sister who emigrated to New Zealand
whilst he came to South Africa after the Anglo Boer war in the early 1900's.
I should appreciate any information on these families if available.
