Michael Tutton is the man behind the www.tutton.org web site.

The 'Wedmore List' that you wrote to in the first place was set up by
Michael in association with the web site so that people interested in Family
and Local history of Wedmore and the surrounding area could correspond and
exchange information. The idea is that when people write in everyone on the
list gets a copy of what they write and the listers are then free to
contribute their two pennyworth.

I hope you have joined the list properly and that you get all the
correspondence. If you addressed your first letter to the list email address
without joining the list you will not automatically get copies of the
correspondence.

All the info I sent to you is on the web site (I think), Michael has had the
registers from Wedmore transcribed and put on the site. there is lots of
Wedmore related stuff on the site and you should spend an hour or so looking
at it. There is even a photo of me on the site so you can see what I look
like if you want to! It is nice to be able to connect a name to a face.
