Hugh,
I would definately like to hear more! This is one of the lines I need more
info on and it is the first line that got me started in genealogy, my
grandmother Graces'. Her grandmother was Martha Willis who emmigrated to
America in the 1860's with her husband a two young children. Her husband
was William Day born in Mark, Somersetshire.
Where are you located? I'm in NY.
Jim

>Dear James Ridley
>The lines certainly do connect! Your Samuel's Father also had a brother
>named George (b 1766). He was married to Grace Puddy (m 1791 Wedmore) and
>was my Gr Gr Gr Gr Grandfather. I think your James Willis may have been
>born
>in 1763 rather than 1771. His father was also a James (b 1741) and m. to
>Lydia Wade in 1762. That James' father was John Willis b. 1698
>(Bagley/Wedmore) and John's father was Johannis Willis b. abt 1670 in
>Wedmore
>and probably m. Sarah Card 1897.
>
>Does that seem about right? If you want some more then let me know.
>Best wishes
