Hi Stephen,
many thanks for your info on the Bakers, which appears to confirm that =
through them my parents were 5th cousins! The other links you mention =
are also intriguing. The sisters Hannah and Mary Wall who married John =
and Richard Baker respectively were first cousins of the Hannah Wall who =
married Joseph Baker.
Maria Lovibond married a Joseph Baker in 1839, perhaps your =
disappearing Joseph of Wedmore bap.1819! I am still trying to track her =
down, and will go through the 1851 census again; their daughter =
Elizabeth Baker was born in Ditcheat in 1841 and married my great =
grandfather Thomas Ash Look.
I much enjoyed working though your links - must have a go at Banwell =
for Joseph and Phoebe!
