founder of Dyersville was the man who married Nancy Russell in Wedmore =
in 1789.

James Dyer Sr's first wife was Mary Sperrin 1750-1794; his second wife =
was Grace Burnett, widow of George Burnett, whom he married in 1808. =
She died in 1818 in Yatton, he died in 1821 in Banwell.
