Steve,

Have you evidence to prove that the George Tutton who married Jane Star was
the grandson of Ben Tutton and Deborah Taylor?

I have been trying to find a link between Michael's line and your line for
years and my evidence suggests that the above is not correct.

In the deeds of Cocklake Farm there is a reference to the will of a James
Tutton.

"I [James Tutton] give unto my eldest son George Tutton my new built house
which he now lives in at Cocklake aforesaid during his life and after his
decease I give devise and bequeath the same unto my grandson George Tutton
(son of my said son George) his heirs and assigns for ever."
The grandson mentioned above is the George Tutton who married Jane Star.

Can you recall in Toronto when we tried to find if we had a match with
Tutton's?
I thought my Ann Tutton was dau of James, but we now know she was dau of
George Tutton & Jane Starr.
George was grandson of Benjamin Tutton b 1675 & Deborah Taylor b 1677. The
rest is history !!
Does this make sense to you?
