Hello Robert.

I've looked in the registers for George Sr. born 1792, the best I could find
was a George, born to George and Mary Tutton baptised in 1790.

I also looked for Elizabeth Bryant in the registers and could not find any
Elizabeth Bryant at all.

There is, however, an Elizabeth Briant who married Richard Brooks in 1817.

Tim Curtin probably has it right.

Steve G., Stan Castle and I have been talking for a long time about a George
Tutton in that area. It seems there were two distinct Tutton families
living in Cocklake (right beside each other). One was quite wealthy
(Steve's) and the other was a regular labourer (mine).

The one that Tim talked about in his email was the wealthy one.

Steve G. may be able to give you some more info, but I know he is a bit busy
right now.

As for the photos, Robert, we've talked before, if you want to get them to
me somehow we can put a page in the web site for people to help you identify
who's in the shots, but my guess is we'd have to be pretty lucky.

Finally, I think there was a Tutton in Kingston who manufactured trains, or
train parts...I think they went by the name Tutton Locomotives, or something
like that. I wonder if this is the same group?

All the best.
